ICPR-UGC/ASC REFRESHER COURSE
IN
PHILOSOPHY
Place : Lucknow University
A Refresher Course is scheduled to be organized by Indian Council of Philosophical Research and UGC Academic Staff College, University of Lucknow on “Philosophy of Language – Basic Concepts and Some Concerns in Indian and Western Philosophy” during August 1-26, 2011
This is a unique opportunity for teachers, research scholars and M.Phil. students of Philosophy and allied disciplines to learn from some of the most eminent scholars of the subject on technical issues of Philosophy of language. The proposed speakers for the course include Professor J.N. Mohanty, Professor P.K. Mukhopadhyaya, Professor Mrinal Miri, Professor Srinivasa Rao, Professor Ashok Vohra, Professor R.P. Singh, Professor D.N. Dwivedi, Professor H.N. Mishra, Professor Nirmalagshu Mukherjee, Professor Ambika Datta Sharma, and others. The Course will be a Three week residential course with 18 working days of 8hours duration, six hours per day. The course will include lectures, panel discussions, group discussion and presentations.
